about

Gusten wrote this song 2007 (age 17). the Band kinda liked the idea. Yanaha (bass) & Mia (backup-voc) added some Lyrics with Gusten. Yanaha took it all to court (i.e. turned the mix of words into a SONG!) We're quite pleased turning this *difficult* idea into Music. ALL 12 tones are included! Noticed that little detail? This is just ONE of 5 songs from the Album "High Five" released 2008.

lyrics

Concrete Believer –Yeah! oh Yeah?
© 2007 Music: Gusten Jansson Lyrics: Gusten Jansson, Mia Lindqvist, Janne Yanaha Lidström

1:
well, it’s a restless hungry feeling, trying to be someone
and it’s a pain that never tends to get away
but he knows, that the sun will shine through his backdoor someday
and until then I’ll stay and watch him grow

2:
he got fired on a Monday, Tuesday he got drunk
and the Wednesday pain said; -Thursday still remains
when his life was just a drag... Friday, took his wife
but he was bound to succeed

[bridge]
praying almost every day,
never really seem to get paid
got nothing to say, ‘cause it’s true as they say;
–we’ll all hit the wall...

[pre-chorus]
And I thought I could make it alone,
it shivers into my bones, baby...

[chorus]
yeah! oh yeah?
-from a junkyard trailer, made in seventy-five
yeah! oh yeah?
-I see how they’re riding all over the sky
yeah! oh yeah?
-now I am redeemed...

3.
“Behold me, Saviour, at Thy feet”, his voice repeats
while the choir voices echoes trough the air
join the promise for the future, he is sure
but he was bound... to succeed...

[bridge]
Preachers’ words are wasting my day
problems can’t be solved with a prayer...
your mind gets to pay... and you get hypnotized,
by the smiling ways of his lies?

[pre-chorus]
And I thought I could make it alone, it shivers into my bones, baby

[chorus]
yeah! oh yeah?
-From a junkyard trailer, made in seventy-five
yeah! oh yeah?
-well I see how they’re riding all over the sky
yeah! oh yeah?
-Now I am redeemed...

[Stick]
been talking too long to my GT,
but the Gin gets out of hand
but at least it gives me the answers,
that’s Hell more than Heaven can
there’s no excuses anymore,
that you think I’ve never heard before
and I’m, crying out the questions of my life

[solo]

[chorus]
-I'm tired ‘cos I tried 'n' I cried, even asked myself why -yeah! oh yeah?
-I’m a go-getter, do-better, Champion inside -yeah! oh yeah?
-I’m a faithful survivor with the tools by my side -yeah! oh yeah?
-I’m a concrete believer but I was raised in a lie -yeah! oh yeah?
-Now I am redeemed...
